Like the condemned murderer on death row, some people go through life accepting their circumstances as their fate. The difference is that there are no bars or guards to prevent them from choosing a different trajectory. The key to unlock a better future is in knowing that, unlike the dead man walking, anyone can initiate a do-over at any time.

Kids are masterful at this as they take risks, make mistakes, yell “do-over,” and then try again. These small teachers of life’s biggest lessons show us it’s better to be convicted in our choices instead of convicting ourselves each time we blunder.

Put yourself in more situations where you may have to execute a do-over. When you succeed, throw your arms in the air and scream, “Yes,” and when things backfire, reach to the sky and yell, “Do-over!”

Rayanne, Thanks for sharing that. If it were not so canned, I'd say great minds think alike.
