Having been one of the first four or five original members on RecruitingBlogs.com I decided, after an 18-month absence, to see what it would be like to be the 274477th member.

For some reason I am reminded of the stories Auntie would tell about arriving in Miami in 1947 and refusing to buy land because it was swamp.

Like South Beach, one wonders if one is beautiful enough to be seen out in public or if it is even worth fighting the crowds for.

What say you?

Ami, I've reassessed this whole SM thing and, well, to tell the truth, find it rather much ado 'bout not a whole lot.

Maybe it's the crowds. I hadn't athunk on that.

Maureen, I shall not reply. Rather I will wait for your phone call to validate that human relationships trump digital ones.

Sound and a fury, signifying nothing, me thinks. Rather like a bad county fair.
