In an ideal world an Employer would open an application, input their job description and candidate requirements, press “Go” and it would produce a map with the 3 best candidate matches, their CVs, current locations and contact numbers.
Though it sounds great, there are some problems with this model: candidates would need to give their permission to become involved – some of the best ones may not and someone would need to approach and recruit the candidate – it’s not always that easy. So, much as Employers might like the idea of a cheap and straight-forward solution it’s not as simple as that.
There is a way to achieve this however, which is permission based – including passive candidates and uses a tried and tested delivery process - Recruitment Consultants. They become the oil in this engine.
Is this a new model that Recruitment Consultants should explore and make their own before Facebook and LinkedIn do it?
