When it comes to crafting your Sales Resume in a way that is going to grab the attention of a Recruiter or Hiring Manager that takes the time to scan over it, there's one thing that must jump out...YOUR NUMBERS!
Recruiters and Hiring Managers peruse hundreds, if not thousands, of resumes in a week/month/year. Most of these individuals know that one of the best indicators of future success is past accomplishments, so make sure these are highlighted on your resume. You need to make sure that if somebody takes 30 seconds to look at your resume, they're going to know what percentage of plan you were last month, last quarter and last year. These numbers need to pop, because that's all Hiring Managers (in particular) care about. Use italics, bolding, spacing, or some way to make sure that the eye is drawn to the face that you were 115% of plan last month and you'll be that much closer to landing an interview.
