How to source on the lesser known sites!! DevBistro
DevBistro is an employment site were people list their resumes, were you can search for jobs or
candidates. DevBistro is well known in the community but few have tried to source in it. Well to do this
without worry you need go no further than into your bag of tricks and pull out an old tried and true
tool, called x-raying.
So to source within Indeed you simply need to create an x-ray string, like the one below.
site:devbistro.com/resumes/ Java –keywords
If you run the string above in google you will get the results below
Now I understand that doing it this way does not make it clear how you contact them. However if you click on one of the names in the example above you will see the below
Now you will notice in the URL is all or part of the persons name, and in the resume you see location, skills, education, and current employer. In other words more than enough info to cross reference them on Linkedin or free google search to gind out a way to contact them.
When you click on another person you might get the above. AS you can see right there in the url is their email boazprincess@gmail.com
If you need more info on X-raying see my blog post http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profiles/blogs/seeing-what-is-really...
