How to source on the lesser known sites!! Plaxo

Plaxo is a site were you can have a kind of one stop shop for your address book, were you cannot

only store your address book, but it will keep your address book updated and consolidate all your

address books from most sites. Plaxo is a known in the community but few have tried to source in it.

Well to do this without worry you need go no further than into your bag of tricks and pull out an old

 tried and true tool, called x-raying.

So to source within Plaxo you simply need to create an x-ray string, like the one below.

site:plaxo.com/profile/showPublic java

If you run the string above in google you will get the results below

Now keep in mind you will net see their names or contact info. However if you look in the URL there may be some info, and perhaps more importantly you will see their current company, title, education etc. All that info is more than enough to cross reference in Linkedin or other social sites to find the rest of the info.
