How to source on the lesser known sites!! Spoke

Spoke is a business directory and intelligence website mainly used for professional networking. The

site collects and aggregates information from public sources as well as user generated content.

However sometimes doing it from within the tool can be hard and frustrating. Spoke is well known

in the community and some have tried to source in it. Well to do this without worry you need go

no further than into your bag of tricks and pull out an old tried and true tool, called x-raying.

So to source within Spoke  you simply need to create an x-ray string, like the one below.

site:spoke.com/people java

If you run the strings above in google you will get the results below, mind you both strings work and will give slightly different results

Now keep in mind you will see some great info that will be more than enough to cross reference in Linkedin or other social sites to find the rest of the info.

If you need more info on X-raying see my blog post http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profiles/blogs/seeing-what-is-really...

Next week we will talk about Spiceworks.
