How to source on the lesser known sites!! Zoominfo
Zoominfo is a vertical search engine focused on people, companies, and the relationships among
them. Zoominfo is well known In the community and some have tried to source in it. Well to do
this without worry you need go no further than into your bag of tricks and pull out an old tried
and true tool, called x-raying.
So to source within Zoominfo you simply need to create an x-ray string, like the one below.
site:zoominfo.com/p devloper java
If you run the string above in google you will get the results below
Now keep in mind you will net see their names or contact info. However if you look in the URL there may be some info, and perhaps more importantly you will see their current company, title, education etc. All that info is more than enough to cross reference in Linkedin or other social sites to find the rest of the info.
If you need more info on X-raying see my blog post http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profiles/blogs/seeing-what-is-really...
