Over the last four days we've considered how HR technology and business strategy can be leveraged to promote beneficial and long-lasting client-specialist relationships: embracing HR technology to boost the efficiency and clarity of your processes, adopting best practices in client on-boarding and software training and finally understanding the value of good client service in maintaining efficient and positive partnerships.

However, it is always essential to use technology wisely:

“The first rule of any technology used in a business is that

automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency.

The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency”

~ Bill Gates ~

In order to make the most of any new technology software, a company must have a clear understanding of what it wishes to achieve by using it. A tool can only add value to a business if the original processes are efficient and clear.Looking at business objectives and what results a company hopes to accomplish through the use of the right technology is a crucial step in the process. We would love to hear your thoughts on the subject, and would like to end this blog series with a quick poll:

Which piece of technology (recent or otherwise) do you believe will make the biggest impact on your business in 2013?

Please feel free to answer our poll by commenting on this article.
