I may have found a new talent pool for New York State!

With New York State State Assembly announcing that it will take steps to repeal much of Rockefeller's 1970s-era drug laws which forced judges’ to impose mandatory prison terms for nonviolent drug offenses, I'm thinking that we may have found an untapped pool of talent that has evaded deep web Booleans and good old fashioned telephone names sourcing.

Hello, Warden Lockemup, please.

Who may I ask is calling?

Maureen, I'm a friend.

Okay.

Hello Warden Lockmeup, I know you're a busy person what with prison riots, anti-death penalty protests and decreases in Federal funding for prisons but can you help me please?

Sure Maureen, thanks for calling and being so honest - we don't get a lot of that 'round here you know.

Aw shucks Warden, I'll bet you say this to all the gals you speak to!

Well, you know... [throaty "ahem"] what can I do for you Maureen?

I understand that Nellie's Law has been repealed by the State and I was wondering if you would give me the names of the, uh, guests, who are about to have their sentences commuted. You have some real talent behind those bars.

No problem Maureen, I'm opening my directory for you right now...

Wow amazing that's all I can say. You should call Russell Simons, and share your thoughts on that appeal.
