I met Michael Heller a few weeks ago on Twitter. He was arguing with me about something so I invited him to try his luck on The Recruiting Animal Show.

The callers didn't speak up a lot during the show but when the Aftershow came they let him have it. Why? I don't know. It was pretty good show. But sometimes they're cranky.

If you're a guest, you can't say I don't warn you. But, I admit, it does take some getting used to -- and I've had lots of practice myself.

Anyway, the rule on the show is that if you crash and burn one week you should come back as a caller the next. I didn't understand a thing Jerry told me the first time he came on. And you have to admit, he's a pretty good performer now. Of course he was a rock star before he became a recruiter but even so it took him some time to get his sea legs.
