Generally, there is high demand for healthcare professionals across the US and recruiting is difficult.  On average there are approximately 8 potential candidates in the workforce for each open job ad across the US.  However, many areas that have smaller talent pools will see varying degrees of difficulty. In these areas, recruiters and staffing firms are likely to experience more competition when sourcing for open positions.  For example, Cleveland has about 5 candidates and Dallas  has 6.  In comparison, Los Angeles has about 11 candidates, meaning that recruiting conditions will be slightly better than on average. Despite having the highest demand in July, Pittsburgh will also experience easier recruiting conditions with about 17 potential candidates per opening.
