For those of us in recruiting it is important to understand HR's focus and and all that they are handling. It is also important for both HR and and those of us in recruiting to understand Recruiting's role.

We are focused solely on Attracting. That's it. Understanding that this is our only focus and HR has a lot more on their plate is key. HR understanding that we are responsible for Attracting only, is also key.
