When Recfluence opened for reviews in the end of 2015, the idea was to help job seekers from different professional backgrounds. When the platform opened for reviews, users and professionals showcased their eagerness, knowledge, and experience in their collective feedback. With information on around 5000 agencies available at the users’ disposal, the latter had all the freedom to post their feedback and what they felt that could have been improved. However, in order to ensure the legitimacy and transparency around feedback, until now, none of the reviews had been made public or could be accessed by other users.
Interestingly, over 5 out of 10 candidates felt that an agency was severely underperforming, and gave them a negative or very negative rating. Unsurprisingly, recruiter communication was rated well as close to 30% candidates felt that recruiters were showcasing professionalism on the phone calls, and awarded them full 5 star rating. Honesty was again another area of concern for candidates as users felt that recruiters found it difficult to keep to basic promises, such as offering a call back when agreed. Over 55% gave the lowest rating, at just 1 star, for recruiters' trustworthiness. However, this is just the beginning as with time, more feedback would help us analyse the core aspects that drive the attitude towards recruiters in finer detail.
The candidate revolution has now ushered a new culture with a great communication platform for the working professionals and job seekers. With all reviews made public, users don’t have to worry about finding a recruiter that is good for their needs – the platform is proving helpful for candidates who lack sufficient knowledge about agencies. With reviews from over a thousand professionals, Recfluence has become a thriving portal to discuss recruiters and their working methods.
