Rate: $DOE
Salary Range: $110K-$140K

Senior Software Developer
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of components of system architecture for industrial applications in material handling platform automation. The overall system enables our core robotics technologies. This position will be a member of a team that develops applications for our platform in the C# programming language and Microsoft .NET environment.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in object oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP) and software design lifecycle (SDLC), and will also have outstanding coding skills and a strong desire to learn. This individual will work in a team setting to ensure that software solutions meet stated quality, performance, and business goals.
Day to day tasks
1. Lead implementation of software using layered architecture components to stated platform and technical goals
2. Create robust, scalable, maintainable software solutions
3. Communicate effectively in both verbal (day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (requirements and design specifications)
4. Create, assign, and manage technical tasks, documentation, and time information per company and team standards
5. Accurately assess project risks associated with development activities
6. Accurately assess work efforts required to implement solutions
7. Lend support to various functional teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions

Techincal Environment: C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005, OOP, OOD

Technical Skills Required:
1. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in software design and 5 years in C#
2. 7-9 years experience in executing a software implementation plan and thorough understanding of object-oriented design principles
3. 4-5 years experience & comprehensive knowledge in the creation of enterprise applications within the .NET framework using C# and .Net framework and XML
4. 3-4 years Experience with ORM concepts and implementations

Soft skills required:
1. Effectively managing multiple priorities
2. Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
3. Demonstrated strong team leadership skills on software development projects
4. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, (MS preferred)
