This is the second post in my series on the 2018 Talent 42. I will focus on the session by Adam Ward on Talent advising. This starts with a lot of talk about incumbents and a thought about busting the Funnel and how to build your credibility as a Talent Advisor. Traits you need are; being Curious, Time Management, Research about your competition, Being willing to change and have the process Evolve, think like the candidate. Not much with regards to tools, but lots of process stuff. That said some tools you can use to research your competition include; Seekout, Owler, SEC, Bloomberg, Talismatic, Insightly, Paysa, Crowded, Engage Talent, Deepsense, and Enlighten Jobs.
