Who would have figured that the employment contracts that have been written about ad naseum in the recruiting blog spaces would now be under attack? It's time to raid, raid, raid!!!!

I think the real issue is if the "breach" of contract in question can be successfully litigated. In the case of the fat-cats in Detroit and on Wall Street I think it is fair to assume that the courts of public opinion have already passed a judgment that would literally overturn anything to the contrary.

As an aside, I can't understand why we haven't seen any class action suits against the financial institutions for jeopardizing the global economy and wrecking countless lives in the process. Of course, if the plaintiffs prevailed how would they ever get paid? So much for contracts and "just deserts."

Off topic a bit but since we're now shareholders in many companies, can we deduct business losses on our returns?
