Tools and Your Tool Belt
We are going to take a small break from our series on lesser sites. The reason for this is to talk about tools and your tool belt. Every time people talk about tools everyone wants to know the top 1-2, or the 1-2 you recommend. If they are paid tools I agree with this thought process. However if they are free, why limit yourself to only 1-2. If they are free why not look at them all, and make sure you have all the ones that cover as much information as possible?
For example lets say you have connect6. Connect6 is a great tool but it does not show all the information about every person. Then you have 360social, another great tool but like connect6, does not show you everything. In fact there is info that connect6 shows that 360social does not and vice versa. Of course there are many more tools that provide this type of information, Falcon, Prophet, Leaf, Riffle etc. All of them are free. So why would you not have them all. In other words stop looking to limit yourself, if they are free get them all, they will all have their place, and time when you will need them and they will give you what you need. There is an old saying, “knowledge is power” well think of these tools as your gate way to knowledge. More tools means, more knowledge more knowledge means more power.
Next week back to our series on lesser sites, starting up again with ResumeBucket
