What do candidates really want from staffing process??

What do candidates really want from staffing process? How do they really feel they should be treated? What is good candidate service and satisfaction? These are the questions that staffing professionals have wondered for years. The answer is simple, you want to know; have a focus group with candidates and ask them. I know some staffing professionals and companies do it via questionnaires, and some use third party companies, and some do it in a case by case basis and in a one on one setting. However instead of all that, each company should do it themselves, they should do it in a group setting allowing for the candidates to freely talk and play off each other. This will ensure you get the best results. So you want to put more focus on candidate satisfaction and the like, simply use a focus group.

I'll answer this from my job seeker perspective: I wanted respect.  And I felt like, as a job seeker, I didn't get it from anyone.

I think any specific thing a job seeker wants (what you find from the focus group) will come back to being respected.

In working with an IT staffing company, interviews are helpful for both sides as it provides opportunities to discuss position details, location requests, skill set, technical requirements and team environment, etc. so that both sides can determine if it’s the right fit. It's also important to know the candidate’s true professional goals. Help them achieve their growth goals and help them establish a career growth path.
