Jim consults with Chad Sowash to discuss why (and how) companies should hire veterans.
Thanks for this post Jim. This is a topic that has been dear to me for a long time, coming from a military family. I am glad that there are things popping up on the corporate side to helps vets. There is a program in Canada (which also serves US, Australian, NZ vets) to help translate military qualifications into 'civilian' lingo. It also allows military/ex-military to translate their qualifications into university/college credits or give them the resources to start their own business. Website is http://www.bcit.ca/legion/ If you want any more info on it, let me know.
Thanks Helen for the tip!
