With all the extremely difficult jobs you have to fill, you also have to work with either outdated tools or the new tools that don't work and everything in between. The candidates you could source from CareerBuilder and Monster you would still have to pay the excessive fees and long contracts to source for candidates that wouldn't do your client any good or your recruiting business any good either? Why you ask?

Well people haven't been back to monster or careerbuilder or even worse dice to update their resume from the recession. The economy is doing great and everyone is working, but you now have 25 job requisitions to fill and companies all have their own internal recruiters now so yes you can still recruit for the job but we also have are own internal recruiting team working on them. Oh yea, and our recruiting budget has been cut so we can't pay you the normal fees we used to so we could work on this for you at 15-20% or a flat fee (wtf?). Ok let me work on this for 20% and pay for broken tools and compete with your entire recruiting team and pay when and if I find the person that walks on water for now 6-9 months of work because the time to fill any hard-to-fill position in this economy now takes twice the time.

I think there needs to be a whole new way of recruiting, since we are no longer playing on fair terms, companies want everything but forget the value a good recruiter brings to the table and job boards need to get better or lower the fees and more recruiting software needs to be built by more entrepreneurs.
