4 out of 5 recruitment companies fail within their first two years of business, and often this is down to cashflow - or, more specifically, bad management of cash. Managing your cash effectively is absolutely crucial to get you through those first 24 months, and it starts right from the initial planning stage.

There are some big things to consider when making your cash flow forecasts - from planning for the various taxes that you’ll need to pay (quick tip - don’t **** with the VATman!) to how to work out your average break-even point.

Cash management is a big topic - too big to cover in a 15-minute video - so I’ve put together some of the most important things you need to consider in this introduction to the topic. Watch it today, and if you want to delve a little deeper into cash management, you can also read my blog on the subject - https://www.davidsongray.co.uk/managi....

Are you ready to launch your own recruitment business but want the support of a mentor, some ready capital or even access to support systems and marketing to get you growing as quickly as possible? Then contact me through the Davidson Gray website (https://www.davidsongray.co.uk) or on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/rhysjones...) for a confidential discussion.
