The Fordyce Letter - Online Blog Update

The ERE team, including myself has been very busy lately building out a new blog for the Fordyce Letter. Jim Dalton has made it look awesome and there are three years of articles archived on the site. It is an amazing collection of third party recruiting information.

Dave Manaster and I went over hundreds of articles and manually put each and every article into the site. I kept telling him over and over again how unbelievable and valuable the information is. It kind of makes you want to make placements.

One of the things that kept going round my head, was that once we launch this, there will be thousands and thousands of recruiters who will become much better recruiters. I know this without a doubt. In fact, even if not another person ever subscribes to the newsletter in order to get new information monthly, there is so much archived on the site that fees are going to go up, fewer placements are going to fall off, and more offers are going to be accepted

I have learned a couple of things here and there about blogging over the years and one of the best things for a blog is good daily relevant blog posts. So….I am thinking about this now and have some ideas.

I will be writing on the Fordyce Letter Blog and I am real interested in getting original content from others who want to contribute great ideas and perspectives about the third party recruiting industry. I can’t promise everything I get will get published but everything will be reviewed. If you want to discuss this, let me know

The print and email version of the Fordyce Letter will remain unchanged. This is a good thing. The time has come for a recruiting blog to compliment what is already recognized as the best source of information out there for the third party recruiting industry.

The blog will go live sometime in the next 30 days.

This business is so addictive.

I'm really pleased to see you and David launch this effort. It's timely and should be a tremendous resource.
