Position: Application Packaging Specialist or Client/Server Operations Analyst with the following skills:
Term: 3 – 6 months +
Location: Pittsburgh, Liberty Ave
Hours: 40 hrs. M-F
Prefer either US Citizens or Green card holders if you have anyone.

SKILL SETS
Required
Ø Solid understanding of client / server relationships in order to identify problem sources concerning systems operations
Ø 2 years experience with Microsoft products (XP, Office XP, Internet Explorer)
Ø 2 years experience with InstallShield Admin Studio Professional
Ø 2 years experience with Altiris Client Management System or Microsoft System Management Server
Ø Strong written and oral communication skills
Ø Able to communicate with system users to identify, explain, and resolve less complex problems

Preferred
Ø Knowledgeable of ITIL fundamentals
Ø Experience with Microsoft’s Active Directory
Ø Experience with Microsoft’s SMS Installer
Ø General understanding of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, IPX)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Develop automated scripts for application deployment via SMS and Altiris
Ø Repackage applications using InstallShield Admin Studio
Ø Ensure that all hardware and software related problems are identified, logged in the designated tracking system, and the appropriate people notified
Ø Troubleshoot problems with supported systems and applications; identify, explain, and resolve less complex problems
Ø Ensure security on all systems and data
Ø Act as second level support for the service desk for certain problem resolutions
