Besides LinkedIn and of course this site (RecruitingBlogs.com), what other websites would you recommend for finding potential Recruiter candidates?

Sounds like someone needs to tap their network.  There are hundreds of Recruiters out there that would be willing to talk with you.  Why don't you send me some parameters? i.e. location, comp range (no blue sky) Are you looking for someone to work in the consulting business, search business or in a corporate setting?  These things all factor in to the type of person you should narrow it down to.
Josie....If you are looking for someone that can work remotely or in North Carolina give me a call,  I might be interested.   There is also openreq.com.   You can post positions there as well.

hi Mark - Thanks for your reply.  We're focused on finding folks ideally with 3-7 yrs Recruiting experience in a corporate setting and some agency background too.  Comp at this point has not been shared with the Sourcers; they just want us to generate names at this point and another team will comb through the list in more detail later on.  Suffice it to say that Google pays their Recruiters very well.  We have found thousands of names from LinkedIn but I was just wondering what the next best website is that others have tapped into.  Nothing seems to top LinkedIn at this point.

Thanks again,

Josie

Thanks Matthew.  At this point in time, that is not one of the locations we've been asked to focus on.  If this should change in the near future, I'll get in touch with you at that time.

Thanks again & have an awesome day!

Hi Jamie - Building my network is a nice side benefit while I'm in this process, but actually I am sourcing for potential Recruiters in the Chicago, IL and Austin, TX areas.  My colleagues are focused on the Bay Area, CA; Ann Arbor, MI; New York; and Boulder, CO.  Google plans to hire quite a few Recruiters in Q1 and Q2 this year.  We have found thousands in LinkedIn but I just wondered if there is another website that tops LI.  Google is not looking to partner with additional agencies at this point for this project.

Thanks again,
Josie

Are you just looking to build your network of recruiting talent or do you need someone specialized for a job, and if so, is it corporate or agency?  I have a huge network of HR Talent, many specializing in Recruiting..that is what I do.."place" Recruiters.  Let me know if I can refer someone who might be out of work and available.

Very cool...I would appreciate that very much!  I can always compare the names to my ever-growing list and if they're not there, I'll add them.  If you have their resumes (Word or pdf format), that would be awesome!  My email is jmorgado@google.com.

Thanks again Jamie!

No problem, Josie, I actually thought if I could forward some good people I know your way, it would be no strings attached, not an agency arrangement.  My best on-line sources have been Linked In and this forum so not sure what else I can do to help other than wish you much luck!!!  (I am still willing to send folks I know personally for free if you like...as you know, that is how it works, one hand washing the other :)
