Hi everyone,

Just a quick question for all of the recruiting blog members...

How and where do you go for information regarding applicant tracking systems?

Many thanks in advance!

I currently use CATS and compared to all the other systems I have used, this one by far is the best. I love it!
While staying with my loyalty to Sendouts I did see a demo today that really interests me.

JobDig Tracker is in Beta and so far so good. For the CATS users, both are Minneapolis companies. JobDig functions very similar to CATS, has a few upgrades, and has a very appealing look to it. Seemed easier to find my way around.

If you are starting out fresh or are a small firm it is worth taking a look at. There is also a corporate version too.

Disclaimer, JobDig was a sponsor for our recent Minnesota Recruiters event but those of you who know me, I would not promote something unless it has value.
From the screenshot at jobdigtracker.com it looks alot like CATS. Both Minneapolis companies? Did you use the system and is it really different? Even the login screen on jobdigtracker ask for the same type of info. Did they take the last open source version and add on to it?
I do not know for certain but I do believe there was some collaboration. I did not think of asking at the time.

I have not seen CATS for about 6 months, maybe longer, but I do not remember the "look" of it being like this. Maybe it has changed and/or maybe I am getting "old" and my memory is failing.
I echo that PC Recruiter is a great system for the $$$. My sales guy is awesome, so if you need a name - let me know. I'd be happy to pass along.
I've got to throw cBizOne (www.cbizsoft.com) in the mix here. For $39 per month it is amazingly powerful. You can manage thousands of jobs and candidates. If you get along with databases, you can customize the interface and tables.

Create great email templates, search, group and broadcast email your clients or your candidates. You can capture contacts and resumes with the click of your mouse. Pretty impressive for the price.

After reading this string.... good luck with your search. Lots of products hitting the streets these days.

Good luck in your search.
In past couple weeks CATS has redone their site. Everything looks completely different than it did a month ago.
Thanks for all the replies everyone!
They did a complete overhaul of cats recently so you may have been looking at the new version "if" they are both the same. If you ever check out the demo at catsone.com then let us know if the are the same.
Currently we are using Simplicant (http://www.simplicant.com). It is applicant tracking system for small and medium sized companies. There you can organize your data, collaborate tasks with your team and communicate with applicants through built-in e-mail.
For your convenience a very simple and comprehensive ATS is there.........you can check this out : www.simplicant.com ..............It has the longest Trial Period of 90 Days with full features.......No restrictions.........and an amazing support service.....
There seems to be a whole discussion going on with that right now
