Hi everyone, I worked for both large national staffing firms to small recruiting firms. After 6 years of giving half or more than half of my billings to the man, I decided it was time to step out on my own. Even though -I will be honest- I was terrified and my Fiance was the one that pushed me out to strike it out on my own. My challenge is actually finding time to make calls! But I guess reality is that is always a problem where ever but I am struggling with trying to manage my day. I am just curious if this normal, and that the first 2-6 months are difficult because you have to find your groove again as an independent. Thanks!

You need to get disciplined. I am always planning my day in Outlook. It keeps you on track. I have been on my own for 12 yrs now, but I remember when I first started. ATS will also help, actually I need to get one myself. I think I have exceeded the limits of Outlook at this point.
