I recently came across an article posted on Director of Recruiting titled What the Lawyers Think of Video Resumes. I commented on the article and will second my comment here suggesting that it should not be a surprise that lawyers question the potential risk of video resumes as they enter the process before any objective decision can be made about a candidate's "paper" resume.

The question I have is if it is possible to segment the video in hiring market? Video resumes have been around for several years and are clearing not gaining much traction among large organizations - but is there the option for other solutions to work?

To add to the above point, here is a link to an article written by a Staffing Consultant at Microsoft.

Large organizations have not adopted video resumes as they exist today and I don't blame them. As per the comment I made to the above referenced article, I think other solutions might make more sense...
