Dayak manages their clients well. If a client doesn't respond to your candidate's resume, they "Ping" them to remind them that you have someone who's interested. It's a small thing, but it helps a lot!
Do you make money if someone signs up using that code? You should say so if you do. Have you made money using dayak?
I make .5% of any commissions a referral earns. The real money is in actually recruiting for Dayak. Unlike Bountyjobs there is no limit to how many jobs you can recruit for and you don't need to be "accepted" by the employer. You can also list "splits" which can be very lucrative for jobs you are having a hard time filling.

I am doing okay with it as I have only been involved for a short time, but it is shaping up nicely.
Thanks for sharing that information. we appreciate it.

(1) one in (5) five jobs may be real or serious buyers in Dayak and the average commission is about $5000, also 50% of jobs are spilts. I did work the site with marginal results.

The best use of time is the old fashion way of having a relationship with a customer provide a valuable service at a reasonable fee (20%)

my 2 cents
thanks
We tried out Dayak last night with a candidate on a split - sent in candidate around 630pm CST - got response/interest for a phone interview at 931pm CST for phone screen today (Tues). I will keep you posted on activity here, but I was pleasantly surprised by the turnaround. The order said they respond either way in 36 hours and they did in about 3 hours after presentation. I agree with what Paul states, but like anything else, you decide the amount of time to throw at it. I think it could shape up as a great place to throw a "candidate over the fence" if you don't have the direct activity for them and want to see if you can at least get a commission on them. If you are adding split business to your portfolio of business (which I do think is important in these times), it might be worth looking into. We'll report back today.
Candidate confirmed that they were calling split recruiter at 10am CST today, got email from Dayak split at 11:18 CST that they spoke and were going to revamp the resume a little towards the job description. Looking good so far, will report later when there is more info to share.

Yesterday the Dayak order is no longer accepting resumes for the position, I have the one candidate that updated his resume and forwarded on to the split recruiter - No updates at this time
I'm enjoying the updates Dean.

Today I spoke with my candidate, they sent their resume to the Dayak client contact with changes geared more toward some of the skills they want to see for presentation. Candidate said they got the email back that they were no longer accepting resumes. I emailed the split client and let them know that this was a candidate they did a phone screen with and asked to make changes to their resume for the client and wanted to confirm that he is still a player or if he is out. The stats on this position shows a total of 10 presentations to the recruiter before the position was no longer accepting resumes. Will update when I know more.
Got an email from the Dayak split job that their client had enough resumes to review and that they were putting the position on hold at this time. My candidate isn't in front of the client at this point and was a little disappointed stating he wished they would have told him they were putting it on hold before he took time to change his resume and forward on. We'll see if it opens up again but at this point it's on the back burner for me.
