To change or not to change is the question...and please enjoy your beverage!

Wow...can you believe it's almost the end of this year! I don't know about you but we all should be planning for 2009. There have been so many changes lately.

I want to ask you this question; What are you changing or not changing as you plan for 2009?

I am fairly new - only in my second year - so my view is limited. However, I have been in business for over 20 years and this is not the first "slump" I have had to endure. In my younger days, I do not really think I noticed. It was head down and full speed ahead!

Well...is that not the same winning mentality we will need for the near future? None of us can control the economy. We can control our attitude and work ethic - both of which will need to be raised to meet the challenge.
Good point, Shawn! We just need to keep our attitude in check. Work ethic is more important now than ever because when things get better, they will remember your ethics...
From my point of view, whilst the previously mentioned attitude and ethics are important. I am, and will be focussing on being able to quantify (in dollar terms) the value add, tangible business benefit or ROI (call it what you will) on everything either I or my team will be working on.
This is true..and the return on investment is still important to companies. Good observation!
