Yes I can go purchase books that promise the sky for $300 plus dollars, but I am sure there are free websites out there... What do you use?

Follow recruiters on twitter http://ow.ly/gEjf and read their blogs.
....oh, and also join LinkedIn groups for recruiters. Start discussions in the groups and ask question on the Q&A. This is also good (what you have done, ask questions on RecruitingBlogs).
Free training is probably worth what you pay for it.

If you really want training, you're not going to get it from a book. There are many great trainers out there for recruiting who will show you by doing the job. My personal favorite is Peter Leffkowitz. www.morgancg.com It will cost you more than $300. But ask yourself how serious are you? Are you worth investing in to do the job right and make your money back tenfold?

I've taken his training twice through the agency I once worked for. When I went on my own I bought a set of his CD's and books to refer to as a refresher. He teaches you how to really recruit, not just surf the job boards looking for resumes. You'll find the people companies will gladly pay fees for and you'll learn how to get orders from clients. It's good stuff. You won't learn this for free anywhere on the web.
Thank you for that info- I will look into it
