I hope you guys would read and respond to it. I am new to staffing business (talent search firm). My job as business development manager is to get a client sign our Service Agreement and get job orders. I have recruiters work with me. I need advise, tips and suggestions from you, veterans. We are focusing in Information Technology and Sales Industry. Honestly, I am so dying to close deals already. But I am so all over the board, not focus and no exact and clear destination. I hope you can give me tips on how to start my day, on how I can get to talk to the decision makers, on how I can get them to sign the service agreement, and on how to do matching. Here's a scenario, if you are given 1 month to close a deal, what is the best thing to do that you have to do. Another concern is, what are the hottest job order recently? You see I am also doing some research stuff but it is a lot better to hear comments and suggestions from people who are actually into it. Thanks in advance guys! Keep up!

I would ideally wont have 1 month to close a deal, I would be interested in knowing what kind of positions you handle which offer such turn around time....I just see SOA as happening thing out here.
I agree with Gautam, SOA and portal technology are on the rise. I would concentrate on a technology, do your homework and then hit the companies that are in the process of implementation.
Chant,

Feel comfortable to connect for any recruiting lead or guidance.

Hey thanks for the reply. I am focusing on software sales and Tech position like network administrator and the like. We have the resources and connections and I have recruiters with me to work on locating talents. With those 2 niche, what do you think is the shortest turn-around time? What are you focusing on as of the moment?
Thank you! Yes, i actually concentrate on technology and software sales. But thanks for your advise, I'll make a lot of research on tech side. That's a great tip you have there! appreciate it.... :)
