Here are the particulars as requested:
Remember this person must be fluent in Japanese.

SUMMARY
Directs and coordinates activities of all sales for Company in Japan.
Is personally responsible for growth of company's sales base and acceptable profit margins.

Aids President in formulating and administering organization and marketing policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary responsibility is to create acceptably profitable sales through Japan’s sales team.

The Manager of Sales is responsible for the formation of sales budgets, sales forecasts and the creation and implementation of marketing plans.

Participates with the President in formulating and administering company administrative and sales policies as well as developing long-range goals and objectives for Marketing and Sales.

Directs and coordinates activities of Sales personnel to ensure their attainment of established goals and objectives.

Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

Confers with President and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.

Serves as member of the management team and assumes responsibility for special projects assigned by the President.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises five Sales Managers, and a Sales Support Staff member. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; Master of Business desirable. At least ten years of experience as a sales manager for a national or large regional company.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Salary range: 6,000,000Yen to 9,000,000Yen

Jay, I am a third party here with a 70/30 split and willing to share half the 30 with yourself if you can source the candidate.
