Brass tacks. Nice primer for the newbies and also a nice refresher for the pros.

Thanks Ambrish, you should make a video and give some advice as well or the best advice you got on your first day./ Make that video.

You're walkin' the walk and talkin' the talk at the same time? Who was makin' the video? Someone walkin' backwards? Great advice. "Find the candidate who is in a position to take the job NOW." It ain't brain surgery now is it? But I have a feeling there's alot more to it that that first two year commitment will teach you that many people don't get or aren't willing to invest. Two years goes by mighty fast when you're having fun.

A video about how to make a video would be cool. I'd like to see that walking backward with a camera to your face trick. Or was that you Jason holding a cell phone up?

Dan, it would be great for you to make one and maybe others as well. first day advice to a recruiter stuff. This video was inspired by the one you did that Maren Featured Today. Thanks for writing.
