How can my golf swing teach you a lesson in your career?

I can recall the time that I took up golf lessons with a local pro. During my lessons she taught me how to properly grip the club and swing through the ball. It felt terribly awkward but she told me it is only because I had been holding the club improperly for years. I remember her saying, keep practicing and in time your new sing will feel natural.

For several weeks I stuck with the grip and swing that the pro had showed me. My swing still felt uncomfortable and there were no… Continue

Are you really any good at sales? Getting to know you...

How can sales professionals move prospects to a yes?

The key to success lies in their ability to influence. Think about it, if you’re a natural at influencing people then you are likely to blossom in the field of sales.

Why?

Influence is the process in which one changes another person’s behavior. When presenting a product or service we must first create an offer that will capture the prospect. When we pitch our case in an influential manner, we find ourselves… Continue

Tough Times Don't Last - Tough People Do!

No matter what your job title, almost all of us have management as a component in our daily routines. The problem is that many of us are knowledgeable in our jobs, but few know how to transform them.

Individuals must analyze and grasp their own ideas and then create a plan to act on them.

Complacency is not an option. Companies will never make improvements unless its employees make conscientious efforts to polish, innovate and reinvent their jobs.

Ok, I just tried another company and it worked! Thanks for helping me out. I guess I need to invite my contacts from the company that did not come up on the search option.

Difficult isn't even the word! Baltimore is actually about a 45 min commute from where I am...although I am not sure what it would be like during prime hours.

Good AM to you, it is hot here in big D, but nothing compared to what you guys have been getting up there....actually in the physician market our prices are one of the best for retained firms, so while clients are always looking to lower fees- we do not see it quite as often, plus the cost of them going without a physician for a day, month and/or year they could lose quite a bit more than anything we will ever charge! Hope all is going well for you-stay in touch and I will catch up with you on linkedin as well!

I staff for a mix of both industrial and clerical. It is very stressful! I ultimately would like to get into the direct hire side of the business. Thurmont is about 20 minutes outside of Frederick, MD. I currently work in Frederick as well.

I lived in Mechanicsburg for a year after graduating college, but have been down here since. It is awesome, mountains and beach are both within 3 hrs and the golf is amazing.
