The Stimulus plan is only 1000 pages when it’s signed into law. Part of this Stimulus Bill is to rid the recruiting society of certain well known phrases. It didn’t get much publicity since it is about $12 million in funding.
Here is the list of phrases that are never ever to be uttered where Federal Employment Policy is in place.
1) “Thinking outside the box” comments are prohibited because too many morons use it today.
2) “Recruiting Initiative” – it’s what all HR folks call Recruiting Projects to sound smart.
3) “Holistic” is never used properly; therefore should be banned from any Recruiting Initiatives.
Anyone that is caught using these terms should be reported to HR immediately.
