Announcing The Hire Syndicate February Meetup: Using Social Networks to Source Candidates, 2/16

The Hire Syndicate NYC Meetup is for split-focused recruiters to network and discuss top-of-mind topics in web 2.0 recruiting. The Meetup bridges the gap between today’s social media venues and our needs to build relationships in-person.

We have secured Amitai Givertz, of Brown Bag Recruiter as the speaker for the February Meetup, with a focus on tips for social recruiting. At the Meetup, Mr. Givertz will give a 20-minute presentation with questions to follow.

Also, we’ve created a new segment “Open Req Exchange” where you can present a position for 1-2 minutes to your fellow attendees and chase leads afterwards.

Details:
What: The Hire Syndicate February Meetup: Using Social Networks to Source Candidates

When: Tuesday, February 16, 2010; 6:30 pm
Where: The Hire Syndicate offices, Astor Place (Manhattan)

Please join us on the 16th! Register here: http://bit.ly/7ZjYWA

Hello NY Recruiters:

I’m happy to invite you to participate in the Metro NYC beta launch of www.ultimatejobboard.com Your opinion is important to us.

Ultimatejobboard.com is quick and easy to understand and our search filters and research tools are unmatched. As will always be the case, job postings are free. We are supported by our partners and advertisers.

To quickly experience the site’s features simply type Accounting / New York, NY as a sample search in the search query. To add your open jobs click on the “Employer” tab on the upper right of the homepage, register and begin posting!

The basic concept is this:

• Free to post jobs, free to search while enhancing the user experience
• Very clean, easy, intuitive interface
• Powerful tools for job-seekers to filter specific criteria and conduct business and social network research resulting in better candidate matches

We understand you are busy in this challenging economy so as an additional incentive for your participation during beta, we would be happy to post your company 160x600 banner ad in the relevant search results free of charge. We will point this banner to your website, job postings, or wherever you like.

If you would like a demonstration have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at 908.517.0800.

Best,

C.
