Job Role

  • Looking for a developer who can work in a high-performing team environment and be responsible in supporting existing Windows applications and migrating strategic Windows application /components to run in Citrix/Web thin-client environment.
  • Candidate would be required to handle ALL the roles of a Software Engineer including key SDLC phases: requirement analysis, design, development, release, support/troubleshooting, and documentation type responsibilities.

Scope of Work

  • Development to support and enhance existing systems from time-to-time.
  • Design and development to migrate existing Authentication application used in Branch Retail and Call-Centers to run on Citrix/Web thin-client. 
  • Desktop optimization/re-architecture to address high desktop resource demand, part of Citrix and Win7 migration project deliverables.

Job Specification

Education: Degree in related field

Essential Skills

  • C/C++ on Windows platform.
  • Extensive knowledge in C++, C# and Java.
  • COM/DCOM working knowledge is a must
  • ATL/STL working knowledge is a must
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Client Computing Experience with Microsoft products, for migrating desktop components on Win7, Citrix platform.
  • Experience with code/component unit testing.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Web servers (IIS) and applications development.
  • Knowledge of MS Crypto++ and/or Apache’s Xerces and MS XML parser is required but not necessary.

 

Flexibility

  • Job would require weekend support and late hours from time-to-time.
