Got Flowers???

What a wonderful surprise! Today I received flowers from someone that I recruited. Her name is Karen Lee and I placed her at Mary Kay in a Business Analyst position back in November. I had sent her a card in December just to touch base with her and she responded with sending me gorgeous flowers! I have been recruiting for 9 years and have never received flowers from someone I recruited. This has made my day, heck...maybe even my whole year! Thanks Karen! :)

Transitioning back into the office after working from home for years...

Today is my first day of having to drive into and work in the office. I have worked so long from my home that I'm kind of in shock. I have to get up an hour earlier, dress up with actual makeup on my face :), drive the 'Mom Taxi' before and after work, arrange for someone to pick up my kids from school, use more gas, and pay for lunch (since I forgot to bring mine today).
