Wile E. Coyote is one of my favorite cartoon characters from childhood into adulthood. What particularly stands out about Wile E. is his patience and dogged determination to catch the Roadrunner. His patience and persistence in his historical pursuit are depicted in each episode. Each well conceived but poorly executed plan to capture, crush and otherwise have the elusive Roadrunner for lunch have all failed. Why?
If Wile E. Coyote was professional recruiters in pursuit of great clients and candidates—what would you suggest he do to change the outcome of his patient and persistent efforts?
And what do you think is the prevailing flaw that prevents Wile E. Coyote from succeeding in the capture of Roadrunner?
Hardyharhar... Rebecca--That was funny but it's like Mad Magazine's rendition of the Mona Lisa (no comparison). When Richard Kimble was finally caught as the elusive Fugitive--as allowed by the creators of that TV series that was a done deal. But until Warner Brothers closes the chapter on Wile E. Coyote's epic chase of the Roadrunner and he catches the damn bird--it's still an elusive dream. That's the fun of the chase...the journey, if you will.
I did like the projection of what Wile E. Coyote would be/could be doing after he caught the Roadrunner. That was very funny and worth discussing in a different thread..."What Do You Do After You've Achieved Your Ultimate Goal?...or something along that line.
Thanks for alerting me to this poor example of a poor attempt to say the "Roadrunner is Dead". The visuals and the talking Coyote ruined a true art form. Wile E. Coyote is an Icon on many levels and he deserves better...he deserves to be chasing Roadrunner to hell and gone--because there is the possibility that he will eventually catch his bird.
