2011 Executive Monitor Report Just Released – Find out what Australian Executives are Thinking

” Nearly half, or 47.4%, of executives surveyed in the latest Executive Monitor report indicated they are planning to look for a new job in 2011.”

The 2011 Executive Monitor Report has just been released today. It offers valueable insights into what Australian men and women are thinking when it comes to areas like;

  • Remuneration
  • Education
  • Diversity
  • Job Search
  • Discrimation
  • Employer Brand
  • Recruitment Agencies
  • Perks
  • Social Media and much more

Executives are engaging in a wide range of activities to enhance their career prospects. Nearly 53.4% registered on social networking sites, while another 49.8% registered with third-party recruiters and 26.7% with job boards. However, when it comes to finding a job, personal networks and contact reign supreme; 27.1% found a job because of who they know. Job boards continue to remain an important channel with 15.4% using them to find a job, compared to 0.9% for those using social media. Karen Jenkin from Six Figures, believes that executives will continue to endorse job boards because “they are a proven channel to reach employers, and especially third-party recruiters.”

The report offers valuable data to assist organisations looking to retain and/or attract executive talent.

The Executive Monitor, a joint project between Six Figures and Destination Talent, is the second nation wide study aimed at better understanding the behaviour of executives and high-income earners in Australia.
