Forgive me blogosphere it has been a while

I feel bad, I started this site with the best intentions. I will regularly write I told myself, I normally cannot shut up, why should this be so different, how hard could this be? I mean really??? C'mon....

Well, I found out... it's tough.... I"m not sure why... maybe after a whole day in the office, talking, and talking and talking, I may actually be out of words.... No one that knows me will believe it, but maybe this is the case.

The phone rings at home, I almost recoil, my wife and I actually fight about who will answer the annoying sound. Note to self, never an argument you can win.... therefore why enter the debate.

Life of late has been very interesting, talk about boiled lollies to chocolates. Earlier this year, our Recruitment model was in a slow down holding pattern as parts of our business worked themselves out. And work themselves out they have, to the point where in the most recent national Management meetings, the question has moved away from those areas to a defined focus on me and my team and the questions again..... "can you and your team hit our numbers".... "can you find that many people in this year". Of course the answer was a no brainer... YES of course we can... now the fun bit... I need a few things to make this happen......

Now we see how serious the CFO and CEO are in our contribution. My teams ideas, and requirements will cost a little money, a tough thing to ask for when your share price has recently had a big hit in the wrong direction. I don't think these things will be purely nice to have, but necessities for us.... things like an ATS, well something a bit more advanced than outlook and the high tech folders they allow us....

Those who know me, will know I love the company foucssing on me and my team, I tell all our new recruits that this company is all about me.... and i believe it, why not? This is my time in the sun again, really looking forward to it as winter descends on my fair city...

Watch this space for tales of the impossible and stories of my team doing the improbable in achieving these goals... GIDDY UP.
