The clock is ticking. You see there are some folks out there in the business who fancy themselves students of the game. People like Gerry Crispin. There are others and we will get to them but first lets talk about Gerry.

Gerry is a made man. He gets flown all over the world. He never pays for it himself. He has drivers and he likes to stay up late. There is one thing though about Gerry that some of you may not know. Gerry is being eaten alive from the inside because not once yet in his life has he ever watched me leave the poker table in a Recruiting Charity Poker Tournament. It's always he who does the leaving. It's hard to see it but if you look real close, you can actually see the eating taking place. Gerry will be at the ERE conference at the end of the month. The real reason he is going and the real reason Gerry is motivated to do anything work related is so he can ensure his place at the table the night of april 1st in San Diego. He will be there and thanks

I have five seats left for RecruitingBlogs.com members so if you are going to ERE and want in on the action let me know. There is also room for three more sponsors.

Mi Dispiachi. I'm leaving at this moment for a farmhouse in Italy, Spannocchia, nestled on a hill of an 11th century estate about 1/2 hour from Senna. I plan to spend all my time communing with the gods about my failure to knock you out. I will sit hour after hour in small piazzas within one walled city after another nursing blood red glasses of Chianti under the Tuscan sun while contemplating the sequence of moves necessary to lure you in at just the right moment and..."fini".

As an added edge I might also seek out the advice ofmy favorite uncle, Tony "ducks" Carrillo, a simple man, an olive importer...with a very long reach.

Buon Giorno.
I'm in Rome today after a week of meditation in the hills near Siena. Headed home tomorrow. Arrive San Diego the following day. Mind is clear having flushed away the toxins of later-day civilization with massive quantities of Vino Nobile de Montalpulciano...and not a few Brunello de Montalcinos. Goals are simple and focused.
Ciao

Congrats Jeremy you opened the door to Neal (rebuy) Bruce. In fact, you are the highest seeded non-team finalist. While I limped in to the final table without enough firepower, its clear you exposed slouch's fatal flaw. He knew you had AK, he should have known you would call.

You are right Gerry, i think Jeremy is the actual winner. problem is I need a team of strong people to wrestle the champ for his badge of honor. Can you help?
