Amitai, This is an Interesting idea that doesn't hold up.

It's not easy for some people, except those who know they can, but you can adopt and alter your behavior patterns virtually anytime you want. Where authentic leaders, as they are defined in this case, have a leg up is that they may not have to make any changes.

The whole "Leadership Industry"  (like the "Self Help Industry")is a good way to take the money from one set of people and give it to another set, without any actual requirements that what is recommended actually works...
