8 Phrases that Describe a Successful Recruiter…

What is a good recruiter?    How would you describe one?   I decided to make a list of phrases of what I think describes a successful recruiter.

A Good Recruiter is:

  1. Having relationships with a side of good timing.
  2. A partner/advisor.
  3. A candidate and client ally.
  4. A person you need most when you least expect it.
  5. An interview coach/job coach.
  6. A salesman and negotiator.
  7. A cyber sleuth.
  8. A networking expert.

What would you add or delete from this list?

Not sure about No7. A Cyber Sleuth, but my overall number 1 would be 'Pragmatic with a large dose of common sense’

Thanks rossan  - I like common sense.   Maybe I should of had 10 phrases instead of 8.

I like #4

I might add Talent Agent ~ The person who is going to make sure you are moving forward with your career.

Talent Agent is good.  As well as orchestrator- Someone who moves the process forward.

sublime selections .....see if "Optimistic" fits in there.......as I believe this is something with which a recruiter should adhere all the time.

Integrity is the first word that comes to mind when I hire new recruiters...and anyone for that matter (candidates, clients, employees, friends).
