@CaseyRecruitsDC is a nice young fellow. The crowd loved him. Especially the maternal and paternal types. They gave him a higher score than me. They said I wasn't prepared. Yeah, right. Oh, please.

I did make one serious error. Around the 18 minute mark I let Jerry go on forever about the guy's second turn-down. If I didn't lose all of my listeners there and then it was a miracle.

If you listen to this - and it's not at all bad - feel free to fast forward through that part.

PS: There was an irritating echo during part of the show. I suspect it was caused by someone's cell phone but I don't know for sure. It might have simply been the wonderful technology at BlogTalkRadio.

Had to listen this evening, the show time usually doesn't work out for me.

Rap was spectacularly terrible by all involved.

Casey is not a "weird" name in any way.

Guest sounded fine, not everyone speaks the same. Just being loud doesn't necessarily mean you sound good.

How many Casey's do you know, dear. By coincidence there were two on the show today. I can only think of one other offhand aside from Casey Jones.

Guest has a robotic uninflected style. Everyone agreed. It's common in techie types. Yes, I know he's not a techie but it's a common type. You can hear the difference between Jerry and Casey or Amy very easily.

Thank you for listening, dear. Comments much appreciated.

The voice didn't bother me as much as everyone else. Maybe it's because I spend a lot of time talking to engineers. Of course I love listening to Jerry and Amy -  and also any guest you bring on with an accent.

I guess I am one of the "maternal types" you mentioned, :)

And I knew at least 2 Casey's througout my school years.

Casey Anthony, Casey Affleck, and the voice I listened to every Sunday for the Top 40 - Casey Kasem,
