It is obvious that there are companies out there that adapt so well to the ever changing environments. Some companies have a culture where adapting to technology almost comes as second nature. Yet there are other companies refusing to accept what is changing around them. The big question is.... How does a company cope with changing its culture?

My company is strong in being ahead of the curve when it comes to products and services. LexisNexis was the first to create legal research practices online. We have also adopted many of the new technologies that are out there today and have incorporated them into our service offerings. For example, Martindale Connected is a networking platform for attorney's to to network with each other across the globe. We have developed multiple customer facing communities. But internally other departments of the company, such as HR, have been reluctant to adopt such programs internally.

I am eager to learn how other companies have successfully engaged with employees to develop the right type of culture that will encourage more involvement in things like social newtorking internally and externally.....
