Feisty Friday 1/29/2016: Bogus Social Recruiting Stats, Lying Candidates And Hiring At RecruitingDaily

Why can't we all be a little more honest?

See, I think it's about time we call out the people who are spouting statistics with enough confidence that people believe them. That we have honest conversations about what those statistics mean for a recruiter and who is trying to fill 20+ reqs. That we talk about the news that matters instead of posting trends lists that mirror the "content strategy" ever HR tech vendor plans to execute for the rest of the year.

That's the idea behind Feisty Friday. Being honest instead of polite in an off-the-cuff, no holds barred blab about the best and worst things that happened in recruiting this week.

This week on Feisty Friday:

  • A few technology glitches. Sorry.
  • Why Instagram is not the next best thing in recruiting
  • Candidates that lie and the recruiting bro code
  • Hiring a writer at RecruitingDaily
  • And probably a little more sarcasm than you can handle.
