I recently came across an article about another disturbing new trend in the job market of how employers are now asking their employees to do more than one job. This was my reply:

hours in a day that you can get things done. I have been a financial controller for many years. The last couple of companies I've worked for I've been "asked" to also "fill in" as the HR person for that company, since the company was too constricted to hire a proper HR person - even on a part-time basis.
