Before I start let me preface this by making it very very clear we in the staffing community are amongst the most helpful there is. We will always help those who need it. That said keep in mind we are also very very busy, and asking the same type of question over and over again, instead of looking first is really a waste of everyone’s time. What started this for me was Facebook. As of when I wrote this, just in one group alone a question about finding contact info was asked 11 times in 1 week. The funny part was when the 11th was asked the answers were 2 page views below it. Again I am not saying don’t ask, I want you to ask, others want you to ask, we will answer, but before you sound the alarm for help at least help yourself by searching a little to see if the question had already been asked, you might save yourself and others some time. It’s like the little boy who cried wolf. He cried wolf so many times when there was none, when one finally showed up no one believed him and ran to help. You keep asking the same question over and over again without looking to see if it has already been answered some will stop answering. Again I am not saying I or others will not help you. Heck I usually take time to help any and everyone. However please be judicious, at least do a quick check to see if the answers are already out there.
